3RD Party Testing for Sub-base

We get the 3^rdparty testing for sub-base test done. Plate load tests for (K) Value on sub-base are conducted for an average of one test for every 2000 sqm.

Materials closer to the ground surface have more effect on the measured subgrade properties than those at larger depths. Measured values of ‘K’ do not reflect long-term settlements due to soil consolidation under loading. However, low values of k are indicative of the plastic behavior of the near-to-surface soils. We get an advice from a qualified geotechnical engineer to sort out the Sub-base problem. The design report based on TR-34^th edition is submitted to client after obtaining the sub-base test K value.subsequently, detailed drawings are provided taking care of all crack control measures and workable industrial floors. The layout plan consists of the pour plan, sequence of pour including other joint details.

We supervise sub-base levels of the layer under-slab and ensure to get dressing of sub-base to a level tolerance of +5 mm to -10 mm. We confirm the uniform layer of the sub-base top layer and prepare the level sheet of the same in the grid size of 3m X 3m mentioning the average level difference from the single datum point.
